Built by Frederic Pelanne

Frederic looks after the floor and cellar at Neighbourhood. Bordeaux-trained, fifth in the French youth championships in 1990, twenty-two years at Peploe's. His list is French-led - Dom Pérignon, Bollinger and Ruinart by the bottle; Barolo and Gevrey-Chambertin for the table.

The List

France, Italy, Spain and the new world, chosen producer by producer.

The Loire, Burgundy, the Rhone, Provence and Bordeaux, through young winemakers Frederic rates, plus champagne from the Geoffroy house.

Every bottle on our list has a grower, a story and a reason for being there.
